How to Speed up Windows 10 Boot and Make Windows Boot Faster

There are several ways to speed up the boot process of Windows 10 and make it start up faster:

  1. Disable unnecessary startup programs: You can use the Task Manager to disable startup programs that you don't need. Open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc, go to the Startup tab, and disable the programs that you don't need.

  2. Disable unnecessary services: There are many services that run in the background and can slow down the boot process. To disable them, open the Run dialog box (Windows + R) and type "services.msc" without the quotes. Locate the services you don't need, right-click on them and select Properties, and then set the Startup Type to Disabled.

  3. Clean up your disk: Use the Disk Cleanup utility to remove temporary files and other unnecessary files. Open File Explorer, right-click on the drive you want to clean up, select Properties, and then click on Disk Cleanup.

  4. Disable Windows fast startup: Although Windows 10 has a fast startup feature, it can sometimes cause problems. To disable it, open the Control Panel, click on Power Options, select "Choose what the power buttons do" and then click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable." Scroll down and uncheck the "Turn on fast startup" option.

  5. Use an SSD: If you don't have an SSD (Solid State Drive), consider upgrading to one. SSDs can significantly speed up the boot process and make your computer faster overall.

  6. Update your drivers: Outdated drivers can also slow down your computer. To update them, open the Device Manager (Windows + X, then select Device Manager), right-click on the device you want to update, select Properties, and then click on the Driver tab. Click on Update Driver and follow the prompts.

By following these steps, you can significantly speed up the boot process of your Windows 10 computer and make it start up faster
