Google unveiled an offline version of
its Google Maps application.
Google map for Android go Offline |
The service would work whether the
phone was abroad and without access to a network, or in a subway
station with no reception. Despite the lack of a connection, a
device with GPS would still allow a blue dot to track the location on
the map. Likewise, the compass would also work if the device has the
feature enabled.
this is really an exciting news for me. Now I can enjoy google maps on my androind phone when being offline or no internet connectivity. Thanks
